Try it step by step

  1. Create a random sample or a distribution sample.
  2. Include a seed for a repeatable experiment.
  3. For unseeded samples, use Reroll random values to generate a new set.
  4. Use Undo to return to the previous reroll.

Examples to try

Each card is one input. For definitions, enter the cards in order. Formula-only cards belong in the tool described above.

Five reproducible random values.

A repeatable shuffle of a list.

Options explained

random
Creates supported random samples with a count and optional seed.
shuffle / sample
Reorders or samples a supported list.
repeat
Repeats supported values or lists; it does not make an independent random draw for every repeated entry.
Reroll
Changes unseeded random values. Explicit seeds remain fixed.
Saving
The document retains its random state so saved work can be reproduced within the supported model.
