- Choose the first and second curve.
- Arrange the current graph window to cover the region you want to search. Use Graph settings to change its bounds.
- Run the intersection search.
- Read the candidate coordinates and save a point if you want to keep one.
Options explained
- Curve selectors
- Choose supported plotted curves by their typeset expressions.
- Search region
- Uses the current graph viewport, not separate bounds in this panel. A smaller view can help resolve nearby features.
- Tangency refinement
- The solver attempts supported touching-curve cases as well as crossings.
- Result coordinates
- Candidates are checked numerically; inspect the source domains.
- Limits
- A finite search may miss tiny components, repeated intersections or singular tangencies. “No candidates” is not a proof of no solutions.
